Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Really amateur defending from La Signora there.

Krasic booked for diving I thought it was a penalty

Love it. AJ scores and a cheat gets books for diving

Would have been if we went for the ball rather than the swan lake effort.

I thought it was a peno as well. Thought Krasic should have had a pen before that one as well.

Just saw the replays there. Two penalties IMHO.

To me and my blue tinted specs it was a dive, and Krasic has been going down like a sack of spuds all night, on one occasion he fell with no city player within 5 yards. Anyway...

Anyone else think that Hart could have done a little better with the Juve goal?

Well in fairness you thought the goal was shít, so your track record of being correct isn't the best ;)

Adam Johnson should be the first name on the City teamsheet every game.

Well there was definete contact(hit both legs I thin) in the box and he didn't get the ball so I do think it was a peno.

I meant **** as in "****!" City have scored because I'm a Juve fan. City goal was a very good finish although defending was suspect.

Not to worry Pinturicchio will get a goal!

We can all knock the ball past a defender and run into them

Watching Danny Miles and Brian Kerr is some anti climax to watching Eamon and the lads last night

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,131 ✭✭✭ironingbored

I think both teams will be relatively happy with result. City played really well in the second half although "God" nearly snatched it with a magic free kick towards the end.

Can Krasic become the new Nedved?

Was impressed with Melo when he came on.

    .

I dont think thats been said too many times in his Juve career! He did play well though.

Anyone interested in signing an anti Gareth Barry petition and sending it off to Bobby Manc!?

Thought Sissoko was very good for Juve tonight.

He's been very good so far this season.

Gareth Barry has been the absolute pinnacle of mediocrity this season!

I tought Garry Barry was quite good. Vieira was the problem.

For me Vieira is beyond complaining about i just like to imagine he's not there.

I thought Barry was terrible in the first half, as in desperate. Pulled it back a bit in the second and shows he comes in handy in terms of versatility, but i just don't think he offers enough to the team, especially when he's in the same team as Vieira.

When Vieira is dropped and Barry plays that role i feel he's far more important to us!

Also,Joe Hart was in no mans land for Del Piero's free kick off the bar which was slightly worrying

Sissoko has played very well since moving to Juve, so it should not really be a surprise to see him do well.

Nice try but a fail all the same.

Explain how Kompany is in the team ahead of Lescott every game if that is the case.

    Or Hart ahead of Given.

Because they were Hughes' signings, not Mancini's. Silva will still get plenty of starts ahead of Johnson because the amount of money Mancini spent on him was 3x that of Johnson
