I would like to open a current account in Dublin, which bank has the best offer and is more secured?

If you're a student - it does'nt really matter. If there is a run on the banks, you won't lose that much.

If you're not a student and have a sizable sum, the smart ones are depositing here at the moment.

    They dont do current accounts?

Op have a look at the main banks, bank of ireland, aib, irish permanent and ulster bank. Each offer free banking some with less conditions than others. I myself prefer ulster bank as you get a visa debit and dont seem to have as many hoops to jump through as others.

Best offer? Ulster offer free banking with no sneeky T&C's. Just clear free banking.

Ulster or NIB would be the 'safest'.
