    Bit of sunshine breaking through here in Limerick at the moment although some ominous looking cloud to the north east, clearly raining.

    Bit of rain today in Shannon airport but the highlight was a very very heavy downpour that only lasted about 2 minutes around 3:15.

    A dry but breezy/windy day in Castlebar,plenty of sunshine.Just noted the 2100 reports on Met.i would consider it fairly rare to have a SE wind gusting up to 40Kts in October.11 Degrees atm,1008.

    Very mild at 14.9c/92% rh at the moment with a 12mph mean wind speed from the ESE and pressure rising a little within an overall steady trend, on 1006.2mb currently.
