    Very foggy and chilly here in Kilkenny with a heavy dew. Sorry I haven't got the right jargon for it. Sun beginning to try and burn through the clouds and fog though. Not sure if it will have much success.

    A lot of fog and murk here all morning but has cleared up big time. Blue skies and getting warmer now. :)

    Temp has dropped right off after a sunny day. High of 15c,down to 9c now.

    Dry and clear in Castlebar all day,still clear now.A fair bit fog forming atm with a tempature of 9 Degrees.Calm.(Note the images showing up on the Met Radar).

    Very cold night, close to an air frost. 2.2c at just after 7am and very dense fog coming down now. Yesterday peaked around 19.1c.

    another lovely beautiful sunny morning here in Castlebar blue skies is nice is nice to wake up to.its about 7C here at the moment with a gentle cool breeze. Have reports in from Athlone where there is fog there atm .

    Small bit of fog here (lifted at 08:00) grass frost and ice on windows of car.

    first time to use warm water on windscreen this autumn/winter.

    Today has brought the first real hint that winter is not far away :) Fog slow to clear this morning in Galway. An overnight low of 4.9C and temp now 6.1C in a light NNE'ly breeze.

    Just 6.8c now. This time last night it was 7.4c so a drop on temperature. May beat last nights 4.6c.

    Zero could be reached in some parts tonight.

    Hey our rain is still only at 12mm. Very low.
