You forgot the Greens who have 6 TDs (though not for much longer, LOL) the Socialists who have an MEP and a good shot at getting a TD in Dublin North, and People before Profit who have several councillors and a shot at a seat in Dun Laoghaire.

Their good for business in Ireland.

They look after people with wealth, for instance low capital tax rates and high inheritance thresholds.

Ultimately, that is right objective to have. Wealthy families and individuals will get this country back to growth with renewed investment. How will they invest... by having surplus funds derived from favorable governmental policies.

I wonder if this is going to be another situation similar to what happened to the Lib Dems in the UK; massive support pre-election, no gains on the day itself: all the polls currently show Labour as being super popular, but when it comes to election day, I suspect people will realise they have NO idea who their local Labour rep is and just plump with the local FF councillor - shur didn't he get the GAA pitch relaid!

Heck, I don't even know if I HAVE a local Labour rep (Cavan / Monaghan)

Labour hasn't outlined how it intends to deal with the Economic crisis...

It hasn't even released any policy information... so I'm not really sure how they have so much support? They could sink the country in a week I fear... and the people that vote for them would be non the wiser...

So why vote Labour folks, if you don't actually know what they'll do?

They might be the best option if you want to see cannabis legalised. They have a pretty good track record in organising and consolidating the local street drug industry in Ireland.

Would you do us all a favour, and copy and paste what they intend to do about the Economic crisis... because I can't find any... As far as I can see, and probably many others, they are playing the 'hope' card without actually saying (or knowing maybe) what they'ld do once in government to make this country economically great again...

FG might get a preference from me if they get their act together.

How about an option for "not voting"?

Up until now, I have always lambasted people for not voting as I saw it as such an important civil duty.

But it's got to the stage now that I feel so dismayed that I really don't think I'll vote for anyone. There is nobody in Dáil Eireann that I think could help us at this stage.

I wish some credible, skilled, talented, knowledgable, qualified people would be willing to run, or be encouraged by a movement of the people to run e.g. Shane Ross or some group of economists who actually know what they're doing.

If you dont do it, you are leaving the door open for somebody to make the decision for you. And there are die hards out there who will vote for a particular party no matter how much the fcuk over the electorate. I feel the same. Would like somebody else, a bit of fresh are, but thats not an option this time around.

I voted Fine Geal in the poll. They will get my preferences in the next election with Labour next.

As long as there is breath in my lungs (and I'm a young man) i will NEVER vote Fianna Fail for what they have done.
