Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Several UFC Fighters went to experience Marine training. I've often wondered how a UFC fighter would do as a soldier. I'd say bar the odd one for indiscipline they'd be the toughest guys on the battlefield.

Here's the problem, though. If you're getting into UFC territory, that means that most everything else has gone wrong.

Military hand-to-hand isn't about beating your opponent on points or a tap-out (or even breaking his body) it's about simply keeping yourself alive long enough for your buddy to show up with a gun. An entirely different set of criteria, which is easier to train for and allows for more opportunity for training in all those other things that make Marines Marines which UFC fighters don't need to devote time to.

    NTM
