I have some (mainly) veg soup (may be some bacon bits in it), and would like to freeze it, as I doubt I'll eat it too soon. Made it Wednesday night, and liquidised it when it cooled. It's been in the fridge since. Probably about two or three litres of it. Would putting it into freezer bags, and putting them into the freezer do, or is there a better way?

    Freezer bags are fine.
Mug a cup or jug and push the bag into it and fill - much easier and cleaner that way.
I also use butter cartons or takeaway cartons or old soup tubs.

If you go with the bags, make sure they don't all freeze in a big heap that you wont be able to separate when frozen.
