Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Backpacker collects one million giraffe pictures, wins bet

    Link
Ola Helland, a 25-year-old web designer, became involved in the bet after an offhand comment while out drinking with a friend.

His friend, Jørgen, refused to believe that Helland could collect one million giraffes by the end of 2010, but Ola has proved him wrong.

I think its a publicity stunt to get people to go to his website, a smart one too. Anybody can photograph a banana, I would have done it in half the time. :)

Reminds me of the time I opened a window and a giraffe came in.

This reminds me of Dave Gorman's "Are you Dave Gorman?" Why can't my nights of drinking end in a worldwide adventure? Usually it just ends up outside Supermacs in Eyre Square, Galway.
