Anybody find anything interesting in Louth on streetview yet?

The pictures for Dundalk seem to be about 1.5 years old judging by the state of my B&B (nothing like that now) and by the cars that are outside my home (long since gone!!)

Anything odd or peculiar? The old ridleys is there to be seen and admired....

One interesting thing i noticed is the Mc Donalds near the grammar school. The matthews bus is there coming towards it ( i looked because i'm in the picture ) and when you go up towards the hill and look back, it's gone. Different times it seems

Yeah the camera switches to the other side of the road. I have seen another example of this but its in Kildare and I seen the car so was hoping I was on street view but once you get to where I was the view changes to the other side of the road :mad:

Yeah I noticed it switching road sides on the way to the Marsh Road as you go past Scotch Hall.

Found myself on it walking past the Google car. I noticed that the car got stopped in traffic when I seen it in reality, and on the street view, i'm walking towards it in one photo, and in the next, i'm a fair bit up the road, so I assume the cameras are all running on some GPS system, where they take a photo every set distance (1 metre, mile, etc.) so it could be that a lot of people aren't where they thought they'd be due to that?


Handy job, that'd be, all the same. Driving a Google car. Bit of camera knowledge in case of any mistakes or mess ups, a driving license, and the ability to follow a map, and you're in, what I would imagine, is a well paid, and fairly easy, job.

Yep, my house looks to be in a very bad need of a lick of paint, which it duly got well over a year ago!!
