ha, Fergie admitting his Owen/Macheda decision was a bit retarded; no matter how bad people think Berba has been the last 2 games, there was no way he shouldn't have started.

start him, and take him off at 60 if he's tired.

Finally getting some time on the ball to havea patient build up rather than forced rush passes.

Sunderland should be 3-0 up by now. It's been very hard to watch United play this season.

You can see why Anderson has been out of the team for so long.

They've been pressing the game not us.

Nani is getting closer and closer to his lifelong dream of breaking the guinness world record for corner kicks failing to beat the first man.

    Sunderland are a good team.

you're not in our situation quite yet ;)

plus there's still 20 minutes left.

    f*cking Vidic.

if it wasn't for him though, i'd wonder what would happen to that defence.

No doubut United have been poor and I cant shake the phrase "dropped points", but Sunderland have been very wasteful and United are usually good at knicking these kind of games . . We live in hope ! ! :(

How many chances does he need to start performing?
His set pieces have been a disgrace, a huge factor in our floundering this season.

We look a club in trouble.
It's ok to not win all the time as long as you perform well, we've been dreadful today.

Nani has been one of our best players this season . His set pieces haven't been great but tell me who out there today can do better then him .

    How is that?

United are a club that need to be challenging for the title.
Today we've met a spirited mid table side, and we have failed to create anything at all in the game.
We look short in most departments.

If you're happy to see United become an average side that knock around the top four or there abouts then you'll be happy to see us playing the way we are today.

We're not going to get relegated, but we're handing the initiative in the title race away by not even putting in a performance.

    I'm not so sure it's that/

I think the chasing pack are getting more competitive. 5 years ago Sunderland had a pure dogshíte squad and would have been battered. This team is actually pretty handy and competitive.

Interesting decisions from Bruce, very positive!

Reid to set up Asamoah for the winner?

Did I say I was happy with this performance? No, I did not.

Drawing to Sunderland is not a disgrace, both Arsenal and City have failed to win there this season and they deserved to beat Liverpool last weekend. United won't finish outside the top 4 this season.

You have to be kidding me.

He's had some very good spells and scored a few and knocked a few assists in as well, as you'd expect from a Unite dplayer.
His crossing is terrible for a Manchester United winger and we've wasted huge chunks of games and handed possession away countless times because of his awful crossing. Every corner drops in front of oppossing defenders, every free kick goes no where, if thats the standards United are looking to achieve then we're in trouble.

I think the commentator said it's 130ish games since we played and unchanged team . That's a big problem I think .

You're right drawing this game isn't a disgrace, not putting in any type of performance is what I have a problem with.

    you're not average.

you haven't lost yet this season, and you could still win this game.

'handing the initiative back' to Chelsea, by drawing to Sunderland, a team who have only lost twice in 21 matches there, does not make you average.

i hope you do become average though; it'd make me :D
