Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What'd be a fair price for my Olympus stuff?

    Hey all,

I have some Olympus and Canon stuff, and I want to try and stick with one brand. So a friend is interested in my Olympus gear, and I was wondering what you think would be a fair price?

There's not really a whole lot of stuff. The body is an entry level Olympus E-420, which came with the 14-42 kit lens. I also have a 40-150 f/3.5-4.5 lens and a Metz 48 AF-1 flashgun (for Olympus/Panasonic). Lenses have cheap ass UV filters and additional camera battery, camera bag and such, but nothing else noteworthy. Cameras about a year old and still under warranty. Everything is in great nick.

Just wondering what would ye guys say? Don't want to shoot myself in the foot, but don't want to rip him off either.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers :)

i would say have a look at other sites ie, adverts.ie for an example if its a say a year old etc maybe 20-25% off from what you paid maybe a starting point. good luck with sale.

Adverts doesn't seem to have much in the way of the same kinda stuff, sadly.

On eBay, there's a way of searching completed listings/finished items, I believe? Anyone know how to do it?

Similar kit going new for 429 in pixmania:

    http://www.pixmania.ie/ie/uk/3037798/art/olympus/e-450-14-42mm-lens-40-150.html

    So I'd say 300-350ish?

When you're looking at a category (cameras, Olympus, SLR) for example, if you scroll down the page there are lots of options on the left hand side. For example, you can exclude worldwide and tick European Union only. Somewhere around that spot is an option for "Completed Listings". Just tick that box and there you have it.
