Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Personally I've seen about 5 slims overheating. One overheated on the same day it was bought (Halo edition)

I have had to house the slim differently than my old Pro.
The Pro I had placed in a tv cabinet, with the back sticking out of the gap at the back, so the fans could disapate the heat into an open area.
I (unthinkingly) put the slim into the same spot, and noticed after a few weeks that after a few hours of heavy use it would start to get loud as the fan would start to labour.
The side fan vent was feeding directly into the roof of the cabinet.

I took it out and placed it in the open and it's been perfect ever since.
As long as the vent is kept clear I can imagine it been fine.
