Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Carra with a pass to feet out of defence

No way! Must have mis-hit the ball!

I'm liking the look of Dave more and more every week. He makes some lovely runs off the ball. If only he had someone behind him to give him some sort of supply. Wheres Pacheco today?

Jova said today he never said anything.

    From the LFC website match centre;
Spoke to a furious Milan Jovanovic before kick off. He's gutted about quotes implying he's restless at LFC. 100% not true. Full interview on .tv later

Typical hatchet job by the Scum

is he? seems to be at left back. although i've just "joined the game"

He's playing LB, but playing very narrow. Been caught out down that wing a few times.

yup, Meireles is our new RW.

it basically came from aul' Roy's own lips during the week that it will probably be his position.

    a joke.

On a more serious note, teams that were planning to spend big on Torres gonna have to seriously start looking at his injury record now - is he worth the risk at 40-50 million?

thats why he'll leave for 20m

Really been impressed with Soto and Skrtel thus far - but mainly Soto. His last tracking back after the corner for me justifies a reasonably reason to include him ahead of Carragher.

we seem to have no interest in stretching Blackpool.

    none.

    this is remarkably comfortable.

Yet again a supposed lesser team comes to Anfield and looks the better team.

Tactically Roy seems very poor based on the 13 competitive games before today, and what I have seen so far in this game. For a manager who is so long in the game, he just seems to have no change in gameplan and sticks with defending far deeper than Houllier or Benitez ever did.

I still expect to get a win here today, but it will not change my mind in thinking that Roy is badly out of his depth managing a bigger club.

lads, this is not funny in any way.

FFS - I can't believe it - Johnson needs a spell in the reserves he's woeful whatever is going on in his head off the field is costing us big time.

Oh god where to start with whats wrong with this club atm

Typical. We go a goal behind as I was typing my earlier post.

This is a scandal, an absolute scandal.

Johnson should be put in the reserves for the forseeable future for that.

The whole team needs to be gutted and revamped.

Maybe we'll hold out for a famous 0-1 loss. Roy would have taken it before kick-off, I'm sure.

Long time to go yet though. Have a feeling Liverpool will get a late winner.

Nope, not funny at all. Suddenly last season is not looking so bad.

Hodgson could find himself out of work by Xmas at this rate.

    nope.

we need a manager to put confidence in the players to impose themselves on the game.

Roy does not have the ability to do that it seems.

The post match sit in will either be huge or non existent - depending on which emotion is stronger - hatred of Hicks or loathing of Hodgson.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭ynwa_17

How Hicks and Gillett haven't taken an offer and ran yet is beyond me. Thr club will be worthless come February.

It's telling that I don't even get "that sinking feeling" when we concede any more.

Funny how Benitez made 'such bad signings' when he was there in the eyes of a lot of fans. Mascherano and Alonso gone, and they can't do a thing the rest of the team.

Great work from Dave there, he might have been better off passing it though.

    Ah Dave put Meireles through!!!!

Still he's playing alright so far tbf - put Babel on the right and put Meireles in the middle - there's no fúckin need for Poulsen to be on the field

It has happened many many times since 1991...

    Bristol City
    Bolton
    Swindon
    Ipswich
    Barnsley
    Watford
    Charlton
