Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The players aren't good enough, end of.

i'm not getting into this, but there's an almighty difference between the two clubs.

being able to manage Fulham does not mean you can manage Liverpool.

Johnson needs to be told to cut off his sh1tlocks. He was better without them. Everyone is better without them.

Realized Blackpool would win a pen, and didn't want to be on the pitch for the most embarrassing moment in LFC history since Big Djimi's wonder OG

What did Johnson do for the goal?

Groin strain. He wasn't limping too much apparently, probably a precaution. But he did indicate he wanted to be subbed.

he took them over when they were relegation candidates and make them a respected upper mid-table team by the time he left.

It's an opinion, not talking ****. Liverpool having a great history and all doesn't mean they will constantly have a great time. They have 3 very good players:Reina,Gerrard and Torres when he isn't injured. I genuinely don't think any of the rest of them would make it into a Chelsea or Arsenal team, maybe bar Agger.

In sense of the world ''team'', Fulham are by far a better team than Liverpool! They work for one another. Some of the Liverpool players just don't care and are sh1te.

So a two year spell with Inter in the 1990's from a managerial career of 34 years proves he is up to managing a bigger club?

    i thought you'd turn up.

i'm not even sure what's supposed to be funny about saying Liverpool, on paper, have a better team than Fulham, or are a bigger club more importantly.

i'm pretty sure i've never ever called Glen Johnson a world class defender.

DO we really have no other options than Carra at LB? Kelly would be a better choice no?

Funnily enough my friend is watching Roma vs Napoli and an ex-Anfield legend, Dossena, set up the goal to put Napoli ahead. Napoli are going to rape us in the Europa league I reckon.

The players aren't good enough, end of.

extremely frustrating watching a team who drop deep and won't press or close down the space on the opposition when not in possession. Its like watching Ireland.
You need to be very good and compact to do it.

Basically the philosophy of play is saying, "have the ball, break us down, create something out of nothing". The system of play is flawed as good teams will invariably create something.
    Blackpool have managed it FFS!

He has a decent record at any small club he has been at. Remember he has been sacked at Blackburn before.

He was seen as a "steady hand" by the good ould british media, but to be honest you need to be playing good football even inconsistently if the fans are to put up with such transition.

For a man who models his teams on solid defences we are shipping alot of goals.

    So f*cking frustrating.

At this stage id settle for a manager with a cavalier approach to playing the game, we might lose a few but it will be better on the eyes. This cack is neither nice to watch or effective.

Probably because he is an ex Blackburn manager. A club where he got sacked in the end for a poor run of results.

We are getting forward, trying to make things happen. But yeah, Blackpool are playing the much better football and look the more threatening. At Anfield. FFS. :o

That's true, but I think Liverpool need one really good defender in January. They don't have someone like Vidic,Terry or a really top class one.
