Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That was a super save from Gilkes,

Kyriakos gets some power in his headers,

Liverpool stay in the relegation zone.

    Save of the Season!

Blackpool were brilliant today, what a win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

    pathetic performance.

    pathetic management.

Gilks hasn't even been under pressure for the last 15 minutes bar a save from Kuyt, and that last minute brilliance.

no imagination, no invention, sitting too far back as usual, letting the opposition settle and play how they want to play.

i don't buy the 'we don't have the players' argument. it's all to do with how the team is being set out from the start, and how they're being asked to play.

we don't impose, we just feel our way into games.

    pathetic.

but well done Blackpool; fully deserving of their day. but it's not a famous day to beat Liverpool at Anfield anymore.

did i mention that was pathetic?

Sums up my thoughts exactly. Says a lot that I'm fairly numb to this result and tbh, not entirely surprised. Just pathetic.

B'pool were superb and well worth their win.

in fairness if he changed hes fu**in attitude and showed a bit of heart for us we might not be in this fu**in mess.time the players took a bit of personnel responsibility for the mess were in.torres included.

Fair play to Blackpool, I just don't know what to think any more. I would ask can we get any lower but we are showing signs that we are digging.:(

Taxi for Hodgson. I'd even take O'Neill in now instead of him. Yes it's that bad.

Well you were unlucky that Torres got injured, I reckon he would have had a field day there.

its a sad day, 7 games in and 3rd from bottom, the 'this is anfeild' sign no longer installs the fear/threat it used to.

i would hold off on the hodgson out chants for now, there is too many problems at anfeild from the top up just to blame it on him.

    :(

Interesting times for Liverpool, Hodgson needs to go ASAP, but then the dilemma is who do you get in?
Dalglish would be the fans choice, but he could well turn out to be a Kevin Keegan.

It'll all depend on whether Hodgson wants to go or not, because imo, there's no chance that he'll be sacked by the Yanks.

I am quite shocked to see the state of Liverpool tbh, Everton have played reasonably well for most games this season, and I think we will finish up around 6th again or so but Pool are a farce.

They need a complete overhaul. its clear Hodgson is not fit for the job as he only ever did mid table placings with Fulham.

As it stands I'm all over the huge odds on Everton to beat Liverpool at Goodison.
