Peaceful protest

    I came across this on facebook today. 'There is a peaceful protest to highlight various aspects of animal welfare but in particular the need for better legislation to protect our animals. Also there will also be a candlelit vigil in memory of those animals lost to cruelty, neglect and abuse or those who are missing and cant find their way home.'

    Its on 4th October (World Animal Day) outside the Government Buildings on Kildare Street. From 5pm-7pm

    No idea who is organising it but it seems like a really good idea. Did others on here know about this??

    (sorry mods if this is not allowed, I just thought it sounded like a good idea and more people that know the better, Im not involved in the event though!)
