Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone out there got one of these bikes. They seem very good value at the moment for whats on the bike.Any thoughts on the frame etc.. I cant decide what to go for,a scott addict R2 or R3 was originally my first choice but seen this now on offer. Any thoughts?

I don't really have an opinion on Scott vs Cube (though I do like my Scott), but that advert is misleading. The photo shows Reynolds Attacks, but the bike comes with Cube HP Aero wheels, as shown here.

Are they decent reliable wheels or would they be something that one would look at changing after a while. If i spend that much money i would hope it would be all iwould have to spend for a while at least.

This was what i was looking at first,

You're unlikely to find unreliable wheels on any decent road bike, particularly if you're spending well over €1000. For instance, you'd have no problems with the Aksiums on that R3.

which would you prefer, the cube at under 2000 and with ultegra components or the Scott Addict R3 at approx 1650 Euro with 105 components. The cube seems good value but i also like the scott

I'm sure they're both nice bikes. If in doubt, pick the prettiest one.

For what it's worth, I'd prefer an R3.
