On the way to work today, and I see that the Wonderfull Barn is covered in some sort of white sheets. Looks like someone's maybe fixing it up? Hope so :)

Im open to correction but I think youre painfully incorrect .Some scumbags started a fire which damaged the roof and the plastic sheets have been there ever since ,at least a year or two. There used be a fulltime security presence there but its gone now .For a magical month or less l;ast ummer the door to the tower was open and you could look up inside it ...its bricked up now.

(flash used on the top half as it was getting dark)
Taken from the other side. As you can see, all the top half has just been plastered over, so it looks like, as one person I met "a worse eyesore than before" :(

    Wonderful (Barn) News just in!!!!

Although not as urgent as that makes it sound.........I drove past it today and noticed that the scaffolding and sheets are down. I was on the motorway, so didn't have much time to look at it properly, so amn't too sure what work has been done.

    It looked pretty good though!

Noticed a white sheet on one of the roofs. Not sure how long it was there, but possibly fixing the tiles?
