Notification when quoted?

I thought it'd be handy if there was an option that could be set to receive a notification whenever someone quotes your post. It's often that I wouldn't be bothered subscribing to a thread I partake in, but if someone responds directly to a post I make within the thread, I'd be interested in reading it.

This idea occured to me just now and I found this be search. I totally ignore any email notifications from boards because there are too many so it would be useful to get a notification directly when one of your posts has been quoted.

Might make for a nice little mobile app.
