I'm pretty sure its the lane/road into the official halting site.

Yep its the lane way between the railway line at the back of Ashgrove and Dans Tavern.

Ashgrove was origonally called Blackberry Lane but after the halting site was constructed the residents got the name changed as every time someone mentioned Blackberry Lane people automaticially thought of the halting site

There's never anybody from the halting site in Dan's, are they all barred or something?
There was a tv program a while back about crime in Ireland, it was on TV3, I saw it once and it was about travellers and bare knuckle fighting, there was a big fight supposed to happen and they were gathered outside Dan's tavern!!! I think one of the fighters was from that halting site :eek:

Exactly as they said, its by Dans.

I don't believe the people from Blackberry Lane are barred from Dans, I just don't think they socialise in pubs too much.

Its a local pub, for local people, we'll have no trouble here
