3g working but no credit?

    I've been online for a while now on my phone but only just realised that my WiFi is off.

    Is there any reason why my 3g is working when I'm on PAYG with no credit? :confused:

    What network are you on, with what plan? Browsing certain stuff can be free, like on H3GI home portal

    Sorry, should have said. I'm with meteor and not on any plan, haven't bought credit in over a month!! :)

    If its been over a month, and your balance is zero then it shouldn't be working. They have the credit me thing, but you need to text for that

    Has the last topup definitely been over 30 days?

    If it was less than 30 days, is their a chance you have the free meteor texts, and 250mb data plan?

    There isn't any 'no plan' option with Meteor.

    Log on to meteor.ie and check your a/c.

    Guessing that you have free texts and internet option - giving you 250Mb allowance a month.

    Topping up by €20 activates it. Its 250MB thats included, not 1Gb on PAYG.

    Can you send texts to a meteor number with zero balance?

    Are you sure it's a WAP connection?
