Fuel Allowance

Im in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance. Living with girlfriend who has no income or dole. I want the fuel allowance but they say you need to be signing on for 15months. Im signing on about 6 no so is there anyway around this?

unfortunately no........its at least 15 months before you get the fuel allowance.

Had the same problem last year myself....hopefully this winter wont be as bad (took me till August to clear my esb arrears)
