    Hi,

I Moved from Irish Broadband Breeze today to UPC 15Mbit. I had no problem setting up upc wireless with my laptop but my desktop isn't beside the tv. I don't have a wireless card but was thinking I might be able to use the old router I sent the IBB signal out on as a receiver. I found out today this is called bridging and I think I found out that I do this with WDS. I've enabled both but after this I'm stuck. I've put the SSID of each router into it's respective box.

    My 3com
    OfficeConnect Wireless 54Mps 11g Cable/DSL Router
    3CRWER100-75

Gives the option after enabling for:
    WDS-RootAP or WDS-STA (I don't know which to select)

If I choose the first I don't have any option but to save
If I choose the latter I can enter in the SSID of the UPC
However then I get a message below saying disconnected.
I can press Reconnect but nothing happens.

    Cisco EPC2425

I have enabled WDS and when I enter the SSID and press ok the page refreshes and the box is blank again.

    Frustrating!

    Can anyone help me please?
