Ok. I figured out the problem. The cable was snipped when the hedge was getting cut. For some reason there was about 3 feet of cable loose in the hedge instead of just bringing it straight into the house.

Is there anyway I can fix this? If not how much will it cost me?

anybody know what cables are used by upc? I take it they are Coxial?
