    Hi all

    Just wondering what is the best phone ( iphone , blackberry ) would be to best to send and receive texts for free from ireland to the uk like msm or skype.

    By any chance would msm work between ireland and uk for free or is there a internet charge.

    If anyone could suggest a similiar programme that would work on mobile phones that would be great.

    Hi,

    You can get a pay as you go sim with H3GI (www.three.ie) and they have a msn, and skype service.

    Vodafone and o2 have free international webtexts. You can send these from their website, or from your phone using a program called cabbage. This need to connect to the internet, at a cost depending on your plan, or free using wifi.
