Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I am finishing my undergrad course in May and hoping to start a postgrad (PGDE) in Sept/October. If I don't get a job for these summer months am I entitled to get the dole does anyone know? And if i do get it will my eligibility for the local authority maintenance grant be affected?

Thanks any advice would be appreciated

I think you are eligible yes, as you are available for full-time work during that time.

The only thing we can tell you is that you are entitled to apply. The lovely people will be able to tell you if you are entitled or not when you apply.

You should get a letter as soon as your lectures finish from the college in question confirming you are finished.

    Grant won't be affected.
