Out of curiosity was the salmon caught in or around Oughterard bay ? a few were active there but I never got them to touch...

Up the North Arm of Corrib - towards the Hill of Doon. These are some shallows the salmon lie on there before heading up the Maam River etc..

Took a point fly along the lines of a Black Goats Toe - one of Basil's Lake Salmon creations.
