Maternity Benefit question

    Hi, my wife is going on maternity leave in three weeks time but I was hoping you could answer a few questions for me.

    1. She has been on a three day week for over a year now so does the social welfare stop her dole automatically or will she have to talk to someone herself about stopping it?

    2. How much should she expect a week on maternity benefit? We already have a child, married & I'm working full time if that makes any difference.
