Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi. Are there any other pitfalls that I should be aware of if i were to do this and bring it back here with me? My reason is that MacBooks are much cheaper in Aus than here. Thanks for your words of wisdom :)

Power will be fine, adapter will accept both voltages.

Only thing to watch out for is keyboard layout.

Good thinking about the keyboard! Thanks for that. I haven't used a mac before but I guess it's possible to localise settings and applications regardless of where it was bought and where it will be used? Thanks again

Its easy to set up the localised settings, as snappieT said it will accept both Voltages only difference is you need a universal adapter (Or change the plug like I did).

I got mine in the states for the same reason so I have an american style keyboard which is not a problem. When I was at the apple store they offered to replace the keyboard with a UK one. I didnt have time so I turned it down.

Ask at the apple store about the keyboard, if you have time and they have the UK keyboard in stock it might be cheap.
