My 1996 VW Polo is the coolest car on Earth. FACT. When I park, if the indicator is on, the parking lights come on, even with the key out. What an amazing extra.

98 vectra does the same with key out.

if the indicator stalk is to the right the right dip light and right rear light come on.

    same for the other side.

    feel the shame :P

Wasn't the swastika a Christian good luck symbol before it was mis-used by the Nazis?

I could repeat the 'did you know that 70% of all Land Rovers built are still on the road' and that "the first vehicle seen by most people in undeveloped countries was a Land Rover" but I won't. Oh, I have, never mind :D

The BMW M1 is the only production BMW to date to have 3 BMW badges on it! (it has two at the back, one at either side).

The right and left parking lights on depending on the position of the indicator stalk is a feature of VW's and Audi's since the 80's at least, possibly 70's. And if you hold the indicator stalk towards you (as in full beam on) you can then operate some of the other functions that won't otherwise work without the key. (Not sure when this stopped being a "feature" in VW's).
