Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

I'm looking to find a frame size to suit a mate who is 6ft 6inches tall, and is a heavy build. The person is a weekend cyclist, so top of the line specs aren't required, Tiagra or 105, or similar in Campag would be suitable.

    Anybody got any suggestions?

    Thanks again.

I'm 6' 4" and have 2 bikes. Winter one is a 62cm Alu frame with Tiagra and summer is a carbon 60cm frame with more seatpost showing. Your mate should look for a 62cm frame (unlikely to get bigger available).

    Try this:

    Or better:

I am in the process of rebuilding a BMC cross bike with Tiagra which I will be putting up for sale. It's a big enough frame. You can see the link in my sig. That advert is a little outdated so I will be posting a new one soon.

It may interest your friend. I'm 6'3" and it was a little too much for me for what I originally intended doing with it: racing. I prefer a smaller frame for that.

I still need to figure out price.
