Timeform Novices' Handicap Chase 1:30 cheltenham

The Giant Bolster: Looked very good on his Chase Debut on good ground , when he quickened up like a good horse. He did jump right on a few occasions which isnt ideal around here, but he ran really well at last years festival behind Peddlers Cross, in 6th in the middle of a lot of very good horses. He fell when going fine at the course in his last run, and im surprised he notone of the Favs for this race. Currently 10.0 on Betfair

    3 Pts win Betfair

You absolute beauty, he looked well beat. Super ride and super tough horse...biggrin.gif

Great race, i got and additional bit on at 9.6 after he was slow at the first fence and one of the favs fell, im not sure where these in running players get their odds as he went off at 6.8, and was well in the race..

40% Better Off On Betfair SP Handicap Hurdle 3:50 Taunton.

Troubletimestwo. This one is back to a winning mark from last year. His last run was an improvement on his previous runs this year on ground that was too soft. He has Good-Soft here which should be far more suitable. He ran some very decent races as a 4yo, and its not much a of a stretch to say he might be in with a chance here. Currently 34 win 7.8 place

1 Point win 2 Points Place

Ladies At Southwell Golf Club Handicap South 2:30

Fair Bunny, has some decent form for thsi type of race, he won of 52 6 months ago on turf, and won a 2yo handicap over c&c of 58 14 montha ago. He was supported last time out and is down a furtehr 2 lbs to 51 along with the reapplication of blinkers. Both of his races wins came after a few poor runs and its not out of the question the same can happen here. He is 40/1 at VC now or 40 win 9.6 place on betfair.

1 Point each way 40/1 VC.

Kem 6:50 Softly Killing Me. Could be more of an in running play than anything, but this one broke badly last time (slipped after breaking ok) and really ran on well in the end. Hard to believe he found a worse race than last one, that was class 6 this is class 7, but if he breaks decent at all he can get into it at a decent price. Currently 16.5 win 4.5 place

1 Point win 1 Point Place.

Cheltenham Preview Evening 3rd March Handicap Chase 4:05 Bangor

Ma Yahab: Just a few too many of the things i usually look for all at once here. Down 5 lbs from some very decent runs last year; second run of season (first was poor); Blinkers applied; Regular Jock back on; Down in class; Canny trainer.. Could be an ideal race for him and if he can improve from an admitadly poor first run, of this mark in this race he should stand a decent chance.

    2 Points win 13.0 Betfair 2 Points Place 3.85

Bristol Evening Post Handicap Hurdle 3:40 Chepstow

Mae Cigan: This one Won a novice Handicap hurdle over this course in soft over a shorter trip last year of 105, he has a few decent runs since including second of 108 at Fos Las over this trip. THis is his second run on the year, and altough he was poor in that forst run , a bit of improvement and a mark of 109 might just put him in with a shout here. 34 win 5.5 place

1 Point win 2 Points Place.

Right thats that tread over 101 bets..

Betfair BSP Profit of 34.19 pts less commission of 13.51 Leaves a profit 20.68 pts , which is a 9% ROI on points invested..

Obviously it was poor enough but still a profit is a profit. (it was totally saved in the last 30 bets)

Its a year since i started these treads and for the whole year it looks like this

Tread 1 100 bets NET BSP Profit of 115.72 pts
Tread 2 11 Bets "Heriatage Handicaps" BSP Profit of 15.08 pts
Tread 3 103 bets Net BSP Profit of 20.25
Tread 4 101 bets Net BSP Profit of 20.68

Total Profit 171.73 Nett BSP points, as a matter of interest the total Advised nett of commission is 193.42 pts.

Total Points invested 744 Total ROI 25.99%

Off we go again for the best time of the year
