Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi there,
I'm thinking of taking up mountain biking and was looking at a few bikes today. My budget was in around the 500-550 mark - a beginner bike. You could tell the quality wasn't great on these in the shop though especially compared to more expensive ones - cheap plastic pedals and gear levers..

There was a used Lapierre (model in title) though that was 650 but he will give it to me for 600. I can't really find any reviews but it feels like good quality and would have been about 900 new. It has xt back derailleur and slx on the front.

Any advice or info appreciated before I make the decision. Thanks.

Anyone anything to add, thoughts or opinion on price or something?

Maybe I should just buy a new one and select a different manufacturer like cube or something instead?
