Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Student finds tracking device on car - FBI demands it back!

    A California student got a visit from the FBI this week after he found a secret GPS tracking device on his car, and a friend posted photos of it online. The post prompted wide speculation about whether the device was real, whether the young Arab-American was being targeted in a terrorism investigation and what the authorities would do.

    It took just 48 hours to find out: The device was real, the student was being secretly tracked and the FBI wanted its expensive device back, the student told Wired.com in an interview Wednesday.

    ...Afifi asked, “Are you the guys that put it there?” and the agent replied, “Yeah, I put it there.” He told Afifi, “We’re going to make this much more difficult for you if you don’t cooperate."

    I know what I would have done with the tracking device. Boxed it up and posted it to China!
    Let them track that! :D

    At the risk of being controversial I would have tried to find a way to get it onto a plane going to new york. Imagine the panic.

    That or stick it in a box, post it to a mate (after telling him what it was) and tell him to post it even further, on and on for months. :pac:

    The FBI would end up tracking it all over the world! :D
