If you live anywhere near Ternure you can get it in Downey and Sons in the village. http://www.organicfoodsireland.com/index.php or maybe FX Buckley on Moore Street (though I'd call them first just to be sure), but the lads in Ternure definitely have it.

Superquinn used to stock it, but I'm not up to date on what they carry now, since my local branch has closed down.

My local park, the Phoenix park, has lots of venison, very fresh it is too.

Somebody here will know the butchers (as it's very well known in Clontarf - I haven't a clue what it's called) - I know the late Gerry Ryan had that butcher on his radio discussing different meats on his show - that butcher does a speciality steak at 50.00. I'm sure he'd have venison.

Marks and Spencer often have venison.

Hicks have it at the moment (they are in the Food Market in Temple Bar on Saturday but you can also but from their factory shop).

Do you know any lads local to you that hunt Deer?

Wild venison is much different than the farmed ones, most lads who shoot will part with a bit if you ask them. Failing that, any Game Dealers in your area?

Fallon & Byrne have it, and I've even seen it in Lidl.

An ask in the Hunting forum may well bear fruit, or venison indeed.
