But if you just take a second to compare pretty much any part of Co.Kerry (Besides maybe the centre of Tralee) to anywhere else in Ireland or even the World, you'll be hard pressed to find anything that compares to it. Here's one I took in early December across the peat bog at Laharn, near our home, towards the distant Slieve Mish. It's remarkable how colourful such a desolate place can be in the middle of winter.

Thats around Dunquin, Clogher beach. Ferriters cove further on and the famous 3 sisters in the right of the background.

They destroyed that area with holiday homes. Its absolutely disgraceful now IMHO. It beats the hell out of me how so much planning permission was granted there.
