    A Life Skills workshop for deaf/hard-of-hearing teens aged 16 to 19, is being run in Dublin on October 28th, by the Irish Deaf Kids venture.
    ISL interpretation and real-time captioning will be available all day.

    Event: Life Skills Workshop for Deaf/Hard of Hearing Teens

    Date: October 28th, 2010

    Venue: Aungier Street, Dublin 2.

    Time: 10am to 4.30pm (registration from 9.30am on the day) Refreshments will be provided for lunch and tea breaks.

    The day aims to give the teens tips to improve everyday situations they may find themselves in.

    Sample workshop sessions:
    1) Minding Yourself (guest speaker)
    2) Setting [Your] Expectations (guest speaker)
    3) Structured group activities to consolidate the day's learning
    A mix of deaf and hearing speakers will teach on the day.

    Monday, October 25th (6pm) is the closing date for completed participation forms.
