Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hiya,

I am considering purchasing the new CS5 collection but does that mean I would have to uninstall my older version of the collection?

Anybody have any experience of this?

    Thanks

it will probably overwrite the older versions. but do you want to keep them? I havent tried this mysself but there might be ways around it by putting them in new folders or different partitions

Pretty sure it installs along side the older versions.
However iirc when CS4 came out it would cause conflicts with previously installed versons of CS3.
Not sure if Adobe fixed this with CS5. The installer is as crappy as ever tho.

Thanks guys, sorry for the delay in responding! Forgot all about this thread! haha

It was more out of curiosity than necessity. I have alot of tutorials I wish to finish on CS4 while learning some of the new features of CS5.

meh, there's nothing you'll miss in CS4 TBH. They're practically identical with a few new features.
