Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

If you're missing your fix of Monday night football you might be interested in Brazil vs Ukraine from Derby's Pride Park which is live on ESPN. Some familiar faces are on show. The kick-off is coming up.

    Team news:

Brazil: Victor, Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Andre Santos, Ramires, Lucas, Elias, Carlos Eduardo, Pato, Robinho.

Ukraine: Dykan, Mandziuk, Fedetskiy, Kucher, Romanchuk, Tymoschuk, Rotan, Gusev, Aliev, Poleyovi, Milevskiy.

    Hopefully a few goals.

I hope Sandro gets some game time and we can see a bit more of him :) have it recording now :)

Just saw this on Eurosport website
Why exactly is tonight's game in Derby? Well, apparently the city has the highest concentration of Ukrainian immigrants in the UK. So with no competitive games until they co-host Euro 2012, well... why not?

Pity Neymar and Ganzo didn't make the trip over, Santos must have a game soon or something... Also how has Hernanes not been called up. If there's been a better player in Europe this season so far I haven't seen him!

1-0 Brazil. Dani Alves. Slick goal despite the deflection.

Ramires' Passing has been terrible so far seems to be constantly giving it away

Why was that a free out looked a good goal to me?

A challenge off the ball apparently. I was bemused by it too. Aliev looks good for Ukraine. Probably their best hope of creating something.

Very young Brazil Team that are being pretty sloppy with there passing but so far Ukraine have thumped the ball up route one and lost the ball straight away again bar the last five minutes of the half where they looked quiet good.

Pato's been in great form since being omitted from Brazil's World Cup squad.

FT. Comfortable 2-0 win for Brazil who are looking good post-Dunga.

Wouldn't call it comfortable it was more the Ukraines lack of cutting edge. I thought the passing was bad the ball always seemed to be just short. Ramieres was poor but I thought Lucas was very good and Sandros passing let him down a bit too.

Yeah Lucas played well. He cut the defence open with a great pass in the second half that nearly led to another goal.
