Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Check out AutoData - a great piece of software with everything you need to know about every bike ever made.

Haynes list is as a Z550G (83-91) Haynes number 0910, isbn 9781850104865. That manual also does GPZ550 and LTD models.

Haynes can be unhelpful in relation to the GT.

I was having trouble replacing carbs after fitting new camchain and head gaskets. Went to Haynes for advice.

"You may have some difficulty replacing the Carburettors".

    Thanks lads.

Put them into a bucket of hot (not boiling) water. Give them a few minutes and the rubber will soften. Much more cooperative after that.

I heated them over a electric heater to soften them and then put them on. Thanks though
