Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

I need a set of new brake discs and calipers fitted on a 1996 Landrover Discovery.
Can anyone recommend a good garage in the Bray/Wicklow area?

    E.

Been reported here before that Kings 4x4 in Greenhill Rd Wicklow are good.

Not too bad a DIY job if you have facilities, a 12 point 13mm socket is essential though to undo the calliper bolts, they are star headed and done up FT

@101sean Yes, got a tip for King 4x4 and spoke tot he man in charge.
Parts ordered and vehicle will be transported there tomorrow.
Other (non-landie) crowd wanted to charge me 600 euro+ for fitting a pair of calipers...

I gotta load of work done in Burton's recently on my Disco. They were sound to deal with. They insisted on giving me a quote first before they started. That was fair enough.Last year i got work done by king's and I nearly collapsed when i got the bill. They know their landies but they also know how to charge.Get a quote from tim in burtons

Picked my Disco up from Kings yesterday.
Very good job done for a price that was far less of what I got quoted elsewhere.
Nice people and I will definetly go back there.
