In my history 'welcome pack' it has a list of books etc and for a few of them it says I can access them online. I have as of yet been unable to do this.

    Any ideas?

What are the books? Are you sure they are not online journals? If you gave an example it would help!

One of them was the 'Economic History Review' 1977 (available online) *apparently*

That is a journal, not a book. You'll find it on JSTOR.

Edit: It is actually found very easily using the library catalogue search, have you tried that yet?
