Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

lol.. or maybe I'm reading too far into it?

If you substitute awful puns for imbecility, it's pretty much on the money, one must admit.

Please don't tell me that Stovelid is a Sasanach after all his comments about football being "bogball"? Jesus, this is way too much of a stereotype to be true.

    Is it pronounced Conn-awt?

    No.

Doesn't matter though. Certainly isn't a matter of intelligence or nationality.

I wont tell you, because I don't know. Hence why I used a question mark in my post. Maybe Oisin's theory was closer.

    Busted.

I wanted to call it upstart-yeoman-ball but I feared my cover would be blown.

Alas, I was clearly speaking about those individuals over 90. So that's a non sequitur.

I only indicated I am not 90. I write letters, not 90, by your equations, I am over 90.

I win, I'm the oldest person using the internet.

You've never been to Connacht then.

I know I was slightly beaten to it by my betters. but had to be done.

Alas, while Connacht is leading, the closeness of the vote suggests no real unanimity on the topic.

One can only surmise that the corrupting influence of clandestine Brit mind-waves are to blame.
