Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why was Mereiles talked to a few minutes ago? And hasn't Cahill been sent off vs. Liverpool before?

Why is Gerrard still allowed to take corners?

Webb showing why he is one of the better ref's - some good advantage being given,

This game is not dissimilar to the WC Final though - on current form there may well be as many cards! although to both sets of players.

there will be surely be at least one red today

I thought Merieles was doing a Face/Off moment there.

"I wanna take his face.... off"

Easily. Tough on Mereiles to get booked but prob cos he had been warned made it 'easier' for Webb.

Aye, even as a winger if there are doubts about his defensive qualities,

Goal was coming, Everton would be disappointed not to have a goal to show for their superiority in the first half so far.

We went a goal down but it was a good goal to be fair. I thought we wre doing well until the goal to keep it at 0-0. We had a few chances to get a goal ourselves, but Goodison's a tough place to visit and I think to be 1-0 down is a fair reflection. Obviously it's disappointing, but it's not the end of the world.

Why is carragher marking Cahill a good corner and he should easily beat Carragher to the ball

    Liverpool are in serious trouble.

FFS...fed up with this crap from Hodgson.

If I didn't know the players and jersey I would swear I was watching a team like Blackburn or Bolton.

They have hardly attacked.....despite having Torres up front, who has only been given the ball once whole game.

Roy's tactics seems to be all about defending and creating nothing.

This is not the Liverpool way nor is it a winning way.....has to stop!

That too, but as an Irishman I'd prefer to wax lyrical about the young Irish lad doing well than how terrible Liverpool's back four is.

    Though that amuses me too.
