Gilbert Melendez is in against Al Iaquinta next month.
Iaquinta is on a bit of a tear recently but Melendez is a bit of a step up. I'll be interested in seeing the odds on this one. I like Al and I'd love to see him continue to improve.

I love Al too but I think Gil takes this.

Seen Alvarez and nate are looking to fight , they had falling out at 188

At the weigh ins, Alverez said to Nate "you're next".
Nate was complaining publicly that Gil won - standard enough when every one of the stockton fighters is in a close match

If a group of us want to go to the UFC Dublin event in October, we obviously all want to be seated together. What would the best way be to pay seperately but be seated together?

    Bank transfer?!! Pretty simple

UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum could reportedly be out months due to an injured knee, but apparently not long enough to wait for Junior dos Santos.

Another newly crowned champion potentially sitting out for months. Didn't see that coming...

Arlovski or Miocic next for Werdum. How uninspiring.
I can barely think of a matchup in the HW division that gets me excited.

Not going to happen unless someone is designated to get all of the tickets. Just get them to pay upfront.

    Cain v Browne
    Overeem vs Cain
    Miocic vs Cain
    Miocic vs Overeem
    Browne v Miocic
    Overeem vs JDS
    Cro Cop v Overeem

    Plenty of good fights IMO.

Haven't been excited for an Overeem fight since Browne.
All of the above beat him apart from Cro Cop which is hard to get excited for.
Browne v Miocic is about it.

Apparently Pendred v Story next weekend.

People can say what they like about Cathal, but there's no denying he's game.

That sort of things means a LOT to UFC, some fighters have been kept on when they should have been dropped purely for this reason

Why haven't any other high level female Judo players moved into MMA?

Maybe they have. I think Rhondas mental attitude to the game is what makes her different

    Yeah you can. It's €17.99.

UFC ahead of the game yet again. I'll pay for this fight legit rather than illegal streaming. I wanted to pay for the Mayweather fight and couldn't because I have no sky/upc package. UFC seem to be with the program when it comes to making money.

only 15.99 if you forfeit the "stunning" HD

Probably not important but is hd 1080p or 720?

  • Registered Users Posts: 139 ✭✭ItsAnEasyGame

Does it work out cheaper to get BT sports for a month and then cancel?

    Strictly speaking both are HD.

But 1080p would be the one with the better picture quality. Depends obviously on what kind of TV/Monitor you are using.

HD on a good tv is glorious. I've a good Sony tv and watching the UFC on BT sports in HD is fantastic and a big reason why I pay for BT. I've actually become a bit of a HD snob where it bothers me if I'm watching a sporting event and it's not HD. When you get used to something better it's hard to go back!

It won't be as good quality as it would be through PPV on TV, but it is very god quality, have streamed a number of events and it never disappoints or drops quality/becomes laggy

2 month commitment at 9.99 a month. Even if you're not into other sports, you'll get lots of other UFC events including UFC 190 during those 2 months

I think he is asking if the UFC HD stream is 720 or 1080, and not about 720 vrs 1080 in general
