It looks unbelievably like a mock blowjob, but she's Korean and the girls are very conservative here with any sort of public displays of naughtiness. Even porn is banned here.

    I'm in Korea now btw.

I just showed the mock blowjob thing to my Korea friends and they all tell me it is not a mock blowjob; it is a cute hand shake thing.

I never said they were only moving it a little, I said leg press. The average person should be able to make very fast progress doing leg presses, but what you've probably seen is the guys who spend most of their time working their glamour muscles and half heartedly work their legs.
I'm talking about people using poor range of motion with plate load machines for the sake of extra weight. "Leg pressing" 250+kg but can't squat 100kg. It's one of the most cheated exercises out there.

Mir is out of the Strikeforce event with an injury.

No word on a replacement but I'm sure Timmah will be on the phone to his agent!

    Throw Mark Hunt in there:D

The only UFC guys that make any sense to put in as replacements are Cheick Kongo & Big Nog...

what they need to do at this point is have a separate 'Injured Fighters' belt.. two banjaxed fighters using wileyness to out one-hand-box each other with broken knees and what not.. the Japanese prob have something in the works : ) coz this sh1t is just mental - somebody said recently that I think there's been as many single fights cancelled due to injury in the UFC this year alone as there were fights in total in 2005 ! think it was that dude on MMA live (who's pretty good actually IMO)

I reckon that fighters insurance thing that came out last year or so could have a lot to do with it.

don't care about the para mma though.. if they want to they should be able to.. if somebody is giving those para-athletes a chance to do something they want no matter how crap or otherwise it may be for me to watch that's cool... I may not care to watch it but it's grand with me.

yes to Mark Hunt in in that SF fight!

Not sure if it was mentioned already but the UFC prelims are live on ESPN on Sunday. It would be nice if they did the same for Nottingham considering the nice start time.

anyone notice the fact that a lot of the fighters on tuf [us] episode 1 where wearing ufc 93 shirts? in case anyone doesn't remember that was the show in the o2 in dublin.i ain't getting my hopes up but thought it a tad strange.

I think that confirms that UFC are coming back here for Paddys Day 2013!

Nah, you're right not to get your hopes up. The tshirts, although not obvious on tv, say "UFC est. 93" referring to the year which UFC was founded.

    Still a cool tshirt!

i was wondering what was up with them. still kinda cool do the link of est 93 & event 93

What did you guys pay for UFC 93 tickets?

IIRC I paid €170. It would want to be a seriously good card before I'd shell out that knida money again.

Think I paid about the same but novelty value was a lot I think. Considering the quality on display on local shows you'd be mad to pay that unless it was Anderson Silva v Zeus!

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,437 ✭✭✭✭El Guapo!

I think the UFC know that no matter what type of card they put on over here, people will still pay any amount of money to go just because its the UFC.
I'd be guilty of this myself to be honest. I missed it last time round and have never been to a UFC show so I think I'd go along anyway. I hope to go to Vegas in the next couple of years though, so I'm gonna try organise it around the time of a big card so I can at least experience that.

out of curiousity did anyone else think franklin should've won the fight at 93 especially considering dan low blow hendersons game plan?

Just a link I came across about the ufc ppv numbers the last few years interesting stuff, 2010 was definitely the high point

I paid 50Euro for UFC93 (I think it was 50,, was the cheapest seats anyway), bought them in the FC presale, Top tier, front row, amazing view, took a few great pics, attached here.

Some people are all about Ringside, what a load of ****e that is, unless yer in the first 2 rows you'll have someone's head in front of ya, or a camera man, or a corner man, fcuk that, especially at 2050blips +

Here's a pic of the view we had for 50Euro

And a night on the Piss on the Thursday before the event

    2112_59109972089_3036_n_zps950ceea1.jpg

And on the Friday we had a little private party in The Octagon Bar in The Clarence Hotel, i know Big Dan & Kev quite well so we invited Buffer (Wherever Buffer goes, ring girls will follow) ;);)

Was pretty cool just hangin wit them, even though Arianny spent all night on her fcukin phone!!

And just before the weigh ins things got better

I wouldn't read to much into that,it really depends on how many fights the big names had. Just a quick check on lesnar for example, 2 massive fights in 2010 which had 1 million plus big rates, not the case in 2011.

In saying that I'm loosin interest in a lot of these make shift main events, like last night and the at 153
