well we dont mind people who come in and have a had a few beers at home, but obviously we dont want people coming in hammered and falling allover the place, so a few is ok i suppose!!

I'm half concerned that the people at will be either
1. Recovering alcoholics
2. Sons and daughters of alcoholics who are frightened by the thought of drink
3. Christian fundamentalists
4. Islamic fundamentalists

Am I right? I hope I'm wrong

You have to ask yourself which category you fit into yourself.

Anybody headin to this? I'm would like to go but would be going by myself and would be wondering if anyone minded if I tagged along with them or if anyone else would like to go who would also be going by themselves?

there are lots of different types of people wh go to these event, including the following,

People who have never drank
People who do drink but choose not to drink on the evening of the event
Health consious people
People who love dancing
People who like to try out new places to make friends and surroundings
People with all kinds of addictions not just alcohol but now have giving up so need somewhere new to socialise
Friends of people who have addictions
I would say its 50% people who dont drink and 50% those who cant because of other circumstances
All in all its a great night had by all so try it out, wont kill you, just a but of fun!!

I am none of the above, I don't drink because I act like a total tool on it and I have more fun sober then drunk.

You must have completely the wrong idea about recovering alcoholics. We're just normal people who because of a disease can't drink. I liken it to an allergy, if you were allergic to nuts you wouldn't eat them because they could kill you, well alcoholics are effectively allergic to drink.....

Hey THe REd Monkey Tea Party's next gig is 28th of January in a new venue''The Exchange'' on Exchange Street Upper Temple Bar, Dublin 2. On the night there will be loads of bouncey tunes to dance to, Free Tea and Coffee, Indian Head massage and a funky chill out area with games,
