Whats the best device to record HD gameplay?

    Sorry if this is in the wrong section :)

    I am looking for something that could record HD footage (xbox 360, ps3) but would also allow me to view the game on my HDtv as I record it. Ideally something that doesnt connect to my pc, media player etc? as I think it will cause less problems :)


    Any suggestions?
