Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The Last Word - text competition

    folks, can ye answer my question in relation to the daily text competition on the Last Word. I used to enter this a lot way back a few years ago (before they switched their number to Meteor) and every time you entered the competition you received an acknowledgment text in return.

    Ever since they switched to Meteor I've noticed I don't get this acknowledgment anymore. I always thought a text entry to a competition should include a return acknowledgment just like in any other text comp I've entered.
    Anyone else find this a little odd, maybe I'm paranoid because I've yet to win :D

    Maybe you're sending it to a wrong number?

    It's a 3 Mobile number - 083 4 100 102

    I don't know if you get an acknowledgment text from the 3 number, just a thought.

    oh sorry, Three. Yeah, that's the number I'm texting alright. Maybe it's just standard they don't send an ack but I know with the old number they did send an ack. Thanks anyway.
