Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A hotel with no guests, no internet access, no phone system to the rest of the world, no possible modern equipment such as fax machines and photocopiers, no food!

...Yea, thats going to be a success.
Its just one mans monument to the size of his vanity.

Room service probably consists of water-boarding, sleep deprivation and electric shock to the genitals, and a free mini-bar.

I worked for a short period on this hotel. All the rooms have leather beds. There are 14 floors underground, with the public (including the hotel staff) only having access to 2 of them!

So are you suggesting that there are 12 other floors that are being used by people other than hotel staff and for something that someone wants to remain out of public view?

If so, it certainly would be a good cover because a foreign army would be less likely to bomb or want to be seen to bomb a public (above ground) that is in residence at any one time.
Sounds familiar tactics by those up to no good - if there is any truth to it all.
